StratoDevils Fall 2022 Overview

The Fall Payload is equipped with two science missions.

The first one being atmospheric profiling through meteorological sensors and the second one being in attitude determination and control system also known as an ADCS, an accurate pointing system. The Fall 2022 team has been divided into three subsystems, programming, electrical, and mechanical with two science directors to take the leads on the science missions. The Results

After some shortcomings, the Fall 2022 launch was generally considered a success. The GPS onboard was able to keep track of the payloads position a majority of the flight. You can view the flight path data on the interactable map below!

Analysis

Both internal/external temps exponentially dropped starting around t=1900, with the external temp reaching a max low of -50C. After a couple fluctuations, internal temp reached a max high of 38C.
Short loss of measurable path data from lat 33.11293 to 33.11503, and lat 33.09354 to 33.08768.
VOC sensor did not work as intended and collected no usable data.
