Hey space people, ASCEND at ASU is almost ready for launch next week! Our PCB's came in and the electrical team has began soldering the connectors and sensors. Mechanical team has completed the final design and started fabrication and our programming team is almost done with integration. Soon all that will be left to do is the final assembly of our payload and we'll be ready for launch on April 1st. Below is a photo one of our members took of PCB progress!

Stratodevils' Electrical subsystem interns just presented their Electrical Engineering workshop where they covered basic electrical concepts and showcased some circuit practices using LEDs and an Arduino. We had good attendance and participants were introduced to fundamental electrical applications. This past week a few of our members also tabled at ASU's Open Door, a campus wide event where different groups can showcase their projects and research. We had hundreds of families circulate our booth and members got some experience presenting our data and science objectives. As for our payload progression, the mechanical model has been finalized and will be a combination of a 3D printed and aluminum frame. Our PCB's should also be in next week and we are track to begin integration the week of March 24th.
